| Lohardaga Gram Swaraj Sansthan has been instrumental in facilitating and taking forward the emergency response support services of COVID-19 outbreak in collaboration with the district administration and development agencies in Lohardaga, Simdega, Gumla,Garhwa and Palamu districts of Jharkhand. |

| Key initiatives undertaken: |
- Promotion of COVID Appropriate Behaviours through team of social mobilisers in rural and urban areas.
- Promotion of COVID vaccination and assistance to people in getting vaccinated.
- Promotion of key health, WASH and nutrition behaviours and access of services post COVID lock down.
- Promotion of hand washing behaviour with key provisions of WASH supplies and services such as provision of soap and hand washing units.
- Support in Quarantine Center.
- Support to migrant laborers, farmers and communities.
- Distribution of DRY ration kit, sanitizers and masks

| “GOONJ” Dignity for work |
| The “Dignity for Work” programe was initiated in partnership with the Goonj, an international organization in the year 2020. Objective of the programme is to develop and maintain village based infrastructure assets engaging the poor and disadvantages community. As part of remuneration the workers are provided with dry ration kit, with clothes, shoes, mask, tooth brush, tooth paste etc,with dignity.; |
